A Millennium Challenge Corporation (“MCC”) Threshold Program with The Gambia was signed in November 2021 for $25 million in total assistance. It is focused on supporting the country’s electricity sector, including critical policy and institutional reforms to develop more effective, accountable, and transparent governance for the sector, as well as improved operations.
